Who says you can’t start rocking a few new beauty trends for fall now? When it comes to trends I’ve never been one to follow them, at least not on time anyways. Lately, in my spare time, I’ve been reading up on some of the new ‘it’ products to try. In an effort to not be the last one on the beauty trend wagon this year, here are a few beauty products I can’t wait to start using this month to stay ahead of the game.
Right now, I’m loving all things Maybelline®. With the season finally changing, toning down my lip color and brightening up my eyes with a little pop of color sounds like the perfect compromise, especially with The Rock Nudes™ eye shadow palette which is calling my name. Aside from rich plum and berry colored lips, nudes and warmer lip shades are also in. If you’re looking for an in between color that’s not too dark but not too light, then check out Gone Greige in the Color Sensational Lip Color® collection.
WEN by Chaz Dean
No matter what time of year it is taking care of your hair is a must, especially if you color your hair. I stumbled across WEN years ago when my hair was damaged beyond repair. No shampoo or conditioner I tried, even name brand products, worked until this. Although I don’t use this religiously, I always keep my bathroom cabinet stocked with this product for times when I feel like my hair is dried out and needs a little life put back into it. If you’ve never tried it, then fall in love with the newly released seasonal scents; Vanilla White Pumpkin, Ginger Pumpkin, and Tuscan Pear.
Olaplex Hair Perfector
If you’re constantly putting chemicals in your hair every 6 to 8 weeks due to coloring and you feel like your ends are a mess or brittle, then give Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 a try. I was introduced to this product a few months back. This once a week treatment will strengthen your hair between salon visits and help eliminate breakage.
Sparkling Soda Shine Mist by Drybar®
After having to part ways with my blow dryer, I stumbled across Drybar and fell in love. Long story short, this is my new favorite brand and after using their products I’m dying to try the Sparkling Soda Shine Mist. Not only does this mist add shine to your hair, it also helps control frizz, flyaways, and prevents your color from fading.
Taking care of your skin is a must, especially now that the temperature outside is slowly changing, which can result in dry skin. Now is absolutely the perfect time to start taking better care of yourself before dry skin becomes an issue or even has the chance to creep up.
GLAMGLOW DREAMDUO™ Overnight Transforming Treatment
After coming across GLAMGLOW DREAMDUO™ Overnight Transforming Treatment in the pages of a magazine, I’ve been wanting to try this product. This newly created overnight treatment is not only one of the top products to try this season, but it’s also meant to help diminish fine lines, reduce wrinkles, keep skin hydrated, moisturized, and leave you with a practically flawless complexion.
Tata Harper™ Restorative Eye Creme
The one problem I’ve been trying to tackle these days is bags and puffiness under my eyes. I feel like no matter how many hours of sleep I get or what type of makeup I use, the issue is just not going away. I’ve been reading up on Tata Harper’s product for a few months now and the main thing that’s been holding me back is the cost. BUT, I’ve already attempted a few inexpensive products, invested in an eye serum, added an eye cream to my normal AM and PM cleansing routine and feel like I’m not getting results. So, although a bit costly and after reading great things about it, the Tata Harper Restorative Eye Cream is a must try for me.
Regardless of what products you plan on using this upcoming season, investing in one new beauty product should be at the top of your list. Whether it’s buying something to change up your makeup routine, spending a few extra dollars on a new haircare product, or investing your money on a new moisturizer just in time for the cooler weather. Just be sure to treat yourself to a little TLC this month in the beauty department so you’re ahead of the game and ready to take on Fall.
