When it comes to working out, the hardest part for me aside from actually doing my workout is staying motivated and driven. Like I’ve said in the past, it can be extremely frustrating when you work your ass off and see no results. Okay, maybe I’ve lost an inch or two but for me if the scale still shows me I’m the same weight, plus a pound or two, I’m not convinced what I’m doing is actually working.
If I really stop and think about it, yes I’ve been committed to working out five times a week but at the same time I haven’t changed my diet up in the hopes that working out would be enough. I’m here to tell you that I tried my way and it didn’t work out, but hey, at least I tried. Sometimes that’s all that matters.
I may have not seen the results I was looking for but, at least I know that if I want to achieve my goal I not only need to be committed to working out, I also need to be committed to a healthier lifestyle which includes changing up my diet.
